Blog Marketing 101 and What is SEO?
Blog marketing is a combination of many things all put together when making one great blog that works and that has many readers. However, if you think that you have done everything possible, prospects are you have not. Or you may do more. When you are working on marketing a blog, you never reach a stopping point. There is always something you can do to keep on grow and make your blog well known. What are these things you ask?

Blog marketing will keep you very busy. If you’ve in addition to one blog going that you want the highest and the best rankings for, you may have no choice but to hire some guidance. However ensure you have good content. If you do not have good content, there is absolutely no reason for your readers to return to your blog after their first visit. Keep writing good content likewise. If it starts to go down hill, you may experience your reader status does besides and that could hurt you at the long run.

Something else many blog owners don’t realize when they’re marketing their blog is that it must be updated. Post content in your blog regularly for the best results. Maybe once each day is beneficial to you? Perhaps you are more comfortable with one post seven days?
Whichever it is, be consistent with it and know that it will pay off to continue posting as you can.
Just having a blog about anything, or random subjects is not always a great idea. You have to have a niche market in order to market your blog successfully. For example, lets say one day you made a blog post on newer news, and the next day it was on your current marital situation. You won’t be in a position to look after a blog audience posting off the wall things time after time. Find your location of expertise and run with it. You can be a specialist on that market in your blogging community.
Readers will go to your blog daily to find out what it is that the expert is visiting say next. It really does work this good.

You don’t want your blog searching and think that everyone else’s, so survive different. Having your individual look is a huge plus in the blog marketing world. You will experience most blogs all look identical and you can have your own look by just using HTML and adjusting the code to suit your taste. You are going to watch that this will truly make a difference with your blog too as your readers.
Try to get a style that’s going to match the market that you are promoting in your blog. Doing so will survive look even more professional.

Hi John I am in the process of learning all there is to know on SEO,bought a great course recently that leaves nothing out.Not going to [plug it here),but only recently I have added keyword luv, top commenters,and comment luv,aswell as an rss feed.I have been looking at other w.p. sites all relatively new all advocating the above,and what I found kind of funny was not a lot of them have a sitemap on their sites,which of course you will know is absouletly essential for proper SEO google loves it,
Hope anyone reading my comment remembers to add sitemap in.

SEO is a process that can be mastered by regular practice and experiments. Learning basics is always important, but SEO is much more than some definitions, some how-to tutorials and 1-2 examples. It works differently in different situations, on different websites and so on.

Great post – it’s worth mentioning that a good way of building links is to leave a worthwhile comment on quality websites. If you have an rss feed some sites will even give you a bonus link to your most recent post.

Great post here John. The keep learning guidance is very important and webmaster forums (Digital Point, SitePoint, V7N etc) are certainly great places to learn the trade. Everyone has to start somewhere and using these forums means that you will be picking up the knowledge for free rather than pick up some scammy ebook boasting how to make thousands over night!:D

I know what you mean about coming up with new content, it can be like a writer getting writer’s block while trying to write a book. As for your ranking moving up with Google because of comments, that is true because it helps update your site, but also how many back-links you have and where they’re pointed to matters the most ultimately I think.
As for the plug-ins I agree, everyone should have those on their sites nowadays. But, I also think in return commentors should leave more than just “nice post” .

I would say that these topics are the ones that I have looked onto when I started to create money using SEO. SEO is hard at first but as soon as you get through it gets easier and easier. Besides nothing is easy at first, you must always start on the basics.
